In countries like India where medical treatment is expensive and inflation rates are so high, having a health insurance policy offered by credible insurer becomes imperative. In this blog, we are sharing a detailed analysis of the benefits of the LIC health insurance policy – Jeevan Arogya so that you can get best medical facilities without any financial burden whenever it is required.

LIC health insurance plans

Jeevan Arogya offers four plans (1,000 per day, 2,000 per day, 3,000 per day, 4,000 per day) based on the amount of initial daily benefit to the daily hospital cash benefit for you to choose. LIC will pay you the amount according to the plan you choose in case of hospitalisation in the first year per day.

As per the plan you choose, the initial Major Surgical Benefit Sum Assured will be 1 lakh, 2 lakh, 3 lakh, and 4 lakh respectively. The LIC health insurance plans also offer other additional benefits such as daycare procedure benefit, premium waiver benefit, and other surgical benefits, which will depend upon the chosen daily hospital cash benefit.

It will depend upon your age, gender, which plan have you chosen if you are principal insured or other insured, and the mode of payment.

Who can be insured and for how long?

Under one policy you can insure yourself, your spouse, your children, and your parents and the parents of your spouse upto the age eighty years. Children are insured upto twenty-five years age.
